“Hip Girl” Kate Payne to attend Indy Food Swappers event (indystar)
Kate Payne, author of The Hip Girl's Guide to Homemaking: Decorating, Dining
and the Gratifying Pleasures of Self-Sufficiency -- on a Budget! (Harper
Design, $19.99), will be in town the week before Super Bowl 2012 and will be
attending the Jan. 28 Indy Food Swappers event at Earth House Collective.
Here's what Indy Food Swappers founder Suzanne Krowiak posted today: "OK
swappers… I can finally let the cat out of the bag on two very exciting bits
of news! "First, our next swap will be on Saturday, January 28th at The Earth
House Collective. And it’s not going to be just a swap. On the eve of Super
Bowl Week here in Indianapolis, it’s going to be a SUPER Swap! What does that
mean exactly? Well, not only will we have our regular food swap, but there
will also be several fun educational programs, all free and open to the
public. The festivities will kick off at noon at Earth House with
presentations from all sorts of interesting and informed folks, ready to share
