**Tampa chapter of CCA to hold annual benefit**
Over the past three decades, the Coastal Conservation Association has been a
leading voice in the fight to preserve redfish, trout and snook. From the net
ban to the grouper wars the CCA has battled for sportsmen's rights. The Tampa
chapter of the state's leading fishing advocacy group is hosting its annual
banquet beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the T. Pepin Hospitality Centre.
Tickets are $125 per person or $175 per couple, and the event includes an
auction and a shot at one of more than 20 charter trips. Call (813) 758-7437

Squadron's Onboard Weather Forecasting class. Participants will learn how
weather systems work so you can stay safe on the water. The two-hour class
begins at 7 p.m. Thursday at the St. Petersburg Sailing Center (250 2nd Ave.
